Humber Connected: The Review!
Blog By Adam!
As I was photographing this production one thing became clear very quickly – we’ve all really picked up our enthusiasm and level of professionalism since last term.
Luka’s show The Review was incredibly well thought out and a lot of fun to be a part of. It was energetic and high spirits in the studio, and focused and calm in the control room. The pictures speak volumes; every single one of them depict first year students with a look of determination and comprehension on their faces. Knowing how far we’ve come by seeing it in our professionalism made me proud to be a part of such a great team of students.
What I really enjoyed about Luka’s production was that I got to take a step back and not think about the technical aspects at all, which left me free to enjoy the show as a whole. It was about reviewing equipment used to create electronic music, and the different functions they provide to a producer. The on camera talent did a great job keeping it fun and entertaining and at times even improvised lines, creating a much more personalized and informal tone to the show.
My experience on this production was very positive, and I think I captured some great photographs of everyone in action!
