Humber Connected: News with the Sullinger Brothers
Blog by Kayla
During the first show, the behind the scenes consisted of a lot of problem solving, as one of the teleprompters broke down. Both the director and producer quickly had to figure out how to work with all three cameras, camera 1 being the main one, which caused stress in the beginning. What was noticeable throughout the first production was that there was a lot of group gathering. Around the beginning of the show, over 6 people were crowded by the audio booth presumably making plans, and also in the studio. Before rehearsal, there was a lot of confusion on when it was starting, especially when the director disappeared for a minute, but it was resolved. During the actual recording, nothing too dramatic happened, and the hosts were able to expand as well as they could since they needed a lot of time to spare. While nothing went too terribly wrong, it still caused some chaos when something no one expected to happen (the teleprompters breaking down) happened.
