Humber Connected: SportsZone

Today's House Blogger was Rochelle Chambers
As everyone returned from break, the pressure began for Toni Junkin and Kyle Gilmour as they got their setup ready for the show. It has been overheard in conversation that Kyle has a complex show. Both the director and producer are excited to take action and get things started. Kyle sets up the main focus in his eye, the graphics. Without graphics the show wouldn't have much spunk according to observers. I walked in to the studio to see how things were going when my attention was grabbed by the hosts in suits. Talk about SWAG! They were looking on point and ready for the part, i'll hire them any day. Both anchors were confident and ready to tackle the show. Josh a.k.a JoJo quotes, "I'm pretty excited!" and he said other stuff that is not suitable for viewers under the age of 18 so we'll keep it out and add it in our uncut blog. Next was Travis who stated, "I'm nervous but happy at the same time...........I'm nappy!" Talk about a racial attack to the black chick blogger. Just kidding, we joke around like this all the time. Well as the setup went on it quickly became crunch time. Toni informed me earlier that she wasn't nervous YET! I think the "YET" just kicked in. You can sense the thick cloud of nervousness floating above her head. I aimed my attention to the camera crew for a bit Josh Sam, Bree and Craig seem rather thrilled! Craig noted, "I rather be in this position than any other." Very enthusiastic about your position Craig. I tried to get a quote from Breanne but got a yawn instead so I headed towards Josh Sam. I was attacked and am currently suing him for the distress he gave to me. "I've been waiting for you to come to me....." (he rants off about ........ something, I can't remember). I don't think the crew liked me, it's like I had to squeeze something out of some people:
Jeremy: "I don't have a quote, that's my quote." -_- OK! moving on.
Richard: ..... I got no quote because he said, "I had to pay." HAHA! Yeah right! ROLL BLUE!
Christine: "It's terrible when people improv." That's show biz for ya, just keep the prompter moving.
James: "Good times in paradise." Uhmm.... I think he thought he was in paradise while in the audio room :s
Laura: "I feel sleepy and scared more sleepy." Don't fall asleep over the switcher now.
Brandon: "I enjoy helping my peers." Thanks for helping with the holding of my camera case. :)
I got SOMETHING out of everyone except the floor manager Andrew. "You're getting no dirt from me RoRo." I tried guys I really did. Any who, we had a couple over confident students but I liked their confidence. Shirley Fullerton being one, "I was born with the mic in my hand." Josh Lubin being the other, "graphics are easier than I thought." Talk about born to be in the business.
As a result the show was a success and it flowed very well. Who knew sports news could be so entertaining. Kyle and Toni were both impressed with the turnout and Kyle found entertainment in everyone's stressed moment over his show but overall he said, "everyone is doing well." Great show all!
I'm your blogger RoRo and I'm out!
