Humber Connected: Humber Court!
Today's Blogger is Johannah!
And the verdict is in!
Producer, Sam Watson, and Director, Suzanne Stevens, brought justice to Humber Connected today through "Humber Court!". In today's episode, the lovely Emily Fraser sues Griff Bordignon for a late fee charge from the Media Equipment Cage. Judge Micheal Dajnarowicz, makes the final decision. but not before reading a few e-mails and offering solutions to student conflicts.
The overall atmosphere of the show was well constructed. Although there were issues with the playback during rehearsal, it was quickly resolved before recording. The calm level-headed Suzanne was able to make sharp transitions between Judge Mike and the disputants. The bumper shots added an extra element to the court scene through smooth pans revealing the studio. There seemed to be very few bumped during this production, but perhaps that is credited to great leadership!
Sam was well prepared with a voiceover that presented a unique quality from the previous shows this year. His script was well prepared and having a shot list made it easier for the camera people to focus on their shots rather than having to follow the script. His communication with Suzanne was evident, as both agreed the end result of the show was a success!
Watson and Stevens have shown they are a powerful and talented team!
